1.Necessary documents for Sponsored Works applicants

1-1.Application form (include your artwork plan as a separate sheet)
1-2.One photo of yourself taken within the past 6 months (attach to application form)
1-3.A photocopy of your bank transfer receipt
1-4.Up to five photos of pieces that you have released within the past few years (include individual JPEG files as well as pictures printed on A4-sized photographic paper)
1-5.A brief portfolio (A4-size; any layout is acceptable)
1-6.Include DVD/CDs if any of your work features edited video/audio
N.B. (Only applicable to successful entrants) any information provided as part of the application process may be used in pre-exhibition PR/advertising.

2.Terms and Conditions

2-1.Entries received after the deadline will not be accepted.
2-2.Applications missing any of the required documents/details shall not be accepted.
2-3.Application forms shall not be returned.
Those who wish for their submitted documents to be returned (excluding the application form), include a statement to that effect and a self-addressed return envelope (with the appropriate stamp) in your submission.

3.Activities during the Production Period

During the production of your piece in Aomori, the committee will expect your cooperation in the following:
3-1.Workshops
3-2.Visits to Elementary, Middle and High Schools
3-3.Visits to the studios of local artists
3-4.Visits from your assigned Committee Supervisor
3-5.Media interviews
3-6.The creation of a booklet detailing your experiences during production

4.Copyright and Ownership rights:

All pieces produced in the course of this program will belong to the Aomori Print Triennale 2014 Committee.
Additionally, the rights to all photo/video taken by the committee during the period of artwork production shall be retained by the committee. Anyone who obtains the committee’s consent shaill be able to use these materials at no extra cost. All artwork shall be removed post-exhibition and any fees associated with transporting the artwork shall be borne by the artist. If your piece requires maintenance during the course of the exhibition, please attend to it yourself. Any repairs to venues required as a direct result of the exhibition shall be undertaken when the artwork is removed. There may be cases where repair fees (with due notification) must be borne by the artist.
